Universal Testing Machine from IDM Instruments



Universal Testing Machine

Designed with dual testing capabilities, IDM Instruments’ Universal Testing Machine enables compression testing in the centre of the machine and tensile testing on the outer.

Different sized compression platens and tensile grips can be fitted to the instrument, to allow a vast array of tests to be undertaken.

This design reduces operator fatigue and production downtime by eliminated the need to change between compression platens and grips for different testing requirements.

The Universal Testing Machine is fully operated via PC, using the Universal Testing Software designed by IDM Instruments.

All test parameters are entered into the software program and then once the program is initiated, the test will run as per the software script.

Test scripts can be saved on the software program and can be retrieved when required. The program also allows users to save their test results and graphs, as well as print their test results and graphs. The possibilities are many on the Universal Testing Machine.
